Casava farm at The Sky House
Our night security guard is Alex Agbesi. He stands here in the foreground. During the day he farms for his family. He has graciously given The Sky House 3 plots of land on which he and the residents have planted casava. (pictured here) The roots are harvested, then the stalks replanted. It brings the Sky House closer to sustainability. We will be able to sell the surplus after feeding our residents. We are blessed to have Alex as part of the Sky House Family!

Pictured with Joan are Priscilla Obekusu (our Ghanaian Director), Eric Morgadzi (Chief Warrior of Kledzo), and the ancestral Queenmother of Kledzo. The Sky is My Limit had a small side project that brought computers to the town for the community to use, and also to bring the community into our larger project. It created a beautiful connection between the community and The Sky House and its residents.

The Sky House
The front of our workshop. Paying tribute to an amazing woman who was the inspiration and motivation behind everything our international director has done toward the completion of the Sky House. Selma Sage was a brilliant and talented woman. Her presence is forever with us, and her absence is keenly felt.
Cutting the red ribbon of The Sky House in 2018
The local Chief in full regalia helping to cut the ribbon on the Sky House in January, 2018. The support of the Chiefs and Elders has been gratifying and helpful at every point in the building of the Sky House. Without their support, the village would not have been a welcoming of our residents. It is truly a testament to the open hearts of these people that our residents can be seen thriving within the village.
